It's a site that reviews movies. I put it here because it falls under movies I guess.

Anyway, it's possibly the worst movie site in existence.

They judge films by using three categorys;

P = Profanity
S = Sex
V = Violence

Each of those is split into four categorys;

Red = Graphic
Yellow = Explicit
Green = Suggestive
White = None

Still with me?

Ok.

According to them, the violence in The Lion King is explicit. THE LION KING!

Here's what they had to say;

Violence Content Overview:
Cutting injury resulting in a bloody wound. Witnessing the death of a loved one. Impalement with object protruding from person. Biting with no blood. Blunt force injuries with no blood.

Violence Examples in Context:
A lion swipes a hyena in the face with his claws, leaving a bloody wound. A lion cub sees his dead father, causing him great distress. A hyena falls into a briar patch and the briars are sticking out of his body. Lion bites another lion on the shoulder. A bird gets trampled by a bunch of stampeding animals, but is not seriously hurt.
Basically, just find any films that are judge really poorly by this site.

Oh, make sure you read what they had to say about Cinderella...

You must be new to the Internet if you believe that.

FMG is one of the more even-keeled ratings sites and pretty much just lays out a film's content with no judgment as to suitability. in fact, the examples you give above seem pretty accurate to me.

Compare FMG to some of the evangelical Christian sites that try not only to tell you what is in a given movie, but whether it's acceptable to you if you don't want to burn in hell.
