What others can you come up with?
Edgerton’s character also sang Elton John songs in Sing a couple years before Kingsman: The Golden Circle.

I saw a movie in which someone was smoking a ton of pot, and then I thought to myself "Oldboy seems to smoke a ton of pot too!"

I keep whole files of these things. Here's just one: George Raft and Mae West died a day apart in 1980. Raft starred in the very first film West appeared in, NIGHT AFTER NIGHT (1932), and then also appeared in the very last film she made, SEXTETTE (1977).

Re: Weird coincidences in movies?

More of a personal coincidence than a movie one, but last October I watched Friday the 13th Part 3, and the next day, I watched Murphy's Romance, a James Garner/Sally Field rom-com. In the movie, the family goes to the theatre, and the film they are watching is Friday the 13th Part 3.

And of course, there's what I consider one of the greatest string of coincidences related to movies/actors.

Considering it's Oldboy we really shouldn't be surprised at this point.

I mean at this point we're like those group of old guys that meet up for coffee every morning. We're going to repeat our discussions.

^^ I seem to remember there was an episode of Inside the Actor’s Studio where Bradley Cooper was in the audience an asked Robert DeNiro a question. He then went on to star with DeNiro in Silver Linings Playbook

Every twenty years seems like a reasonable timeframe for repetition.
