I really hoped 8 Below would top Date Movie...Oh well, with Scary Movie 4 coming out and bound to do well, we will never escape these movies.

I mildly liked Scary Movie 3 (thought it was a hell of an improvement over the trainwreck that was the first sequel) and with Zucker back at helm, it can't be that bad.

Wow, Freedomland isn't going to do much at all. Hopefully SoaP can revive Sam L's career.

I was happy that Freedomland was finally released. I was going to punch someone in the face if I had to sit through that god-awful trailer one more fucking time.

I'm just sad that Curious George keeps on doing piss poor. I finally saw it tonight and thought it was a great kids film that also appeals to adults. Yet, the masses keep on paying to see shit like Big Momma's House 2 and Date Movie. Fuck, I hate America.

Sad that our society finds movies like Date Movie good enough to go see.

I guess Brokeback finally left the top ten.

Good news! Eight Below DID knock Date Movie off of the #1 spot. Unfortunately, Date Movie still did really well with about 18.9 million. But Eight Below made about 1 million more than that.

I really am surprised about the (thus far) lackluster showing for Curious George. I figured parents would be all over this.

I have tomorrow off! Woo-Hoo! But I doubt I'll go see any movies at the theater.

Im glad 8 Below is tops for at least now...Not that I think its the greatest movie ever made by any means, its just something has to show the Machine that there is something to be said for a half-way decent story.
