Movies like Edward Scissorhands?

I just saw this movie for the first time and loved it. I don't know what it is but there's just something so special about it.

Can you guys recommend any other movies that have a similar kind of innocent charm to it like this one?

Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Beetlejuice.

Just watch all of Tim Burton's movies....except Planet of the Apes.

Some other Depp movies from that period might fit the bill too: like "Benny and Joon" and "What's Eating Gilbert Grape". No fantasy elements, but they have a similar moving charm.

I'd also recommend some other Burton & Depp films. I'll second the ones already mentioned and would add Ed Wood, Don Juan DeMarco.

Another good one, not related to either Burton or Depp is an early Thandie Newton film called Flirting.

It's been a while but I think Powder falls the same kind of formula

John Carpenter's Starman also has that same kind of innocnet charm about it as well

Yeah, work your way through most of Tim Burton's filmography for similar tones. My highest recommendation based on what you're looking for (and also my favorite Burton movie): Big Fish.

not exactly the same kind of thing, but The Truman Show seems to have a similar vibe

It's been said a few times already, but definitely check out Big Fish.
