Fun with Movies: Screenshot challenge.

http://www.funwithmovies.com/

Fairly easy, for the most part. I got 25/30. Once you finish it, post the answers you got in spoiler tags so that you don't ruin the game for other members. I'll update my spoiler-tagged answer key in this post with the five that I didn't get myself.

I missed numbers 8, 9, 18, 19, and 24.

Answer Key:
Spoiler:
01. The Usual Suspects
02. Sleepers
03. Tango & Cash
04. Memento
05. Pulp Fiction
06. Full Metal Jacket
07. Goodfellas
08. The Legend of 1900
09. Zatoichi
10. Hero
11. Garden State
12. The Matrix
13. Saving Private Ryan
14. Fargo
15. Terminator 2
16. Reservoir Dogs
17. Die Hard
18. Cube
19. A.I.
20. A Beautiful Mind
21. Batman
22. Black Hawk Down
23. Charlie's Angels
24. Equilibrium
25. Fight Club
26. Gangs of New York
27. Lord of the Rings
28. Leon
29. Men in Black
30. The Ring

Have fun!

9.
Spoiler:
Zatoichi
Uses "english spelling" from IMDB.

19.
Spoiler:
A.I.

24.
Spoiler:
Equilibrium

I got 26, missed 8, 18, 20 and 22.

I got 9 right away, but used the IMDB official spelling, including special character, the without the special character. The went back to it later and tried the english spelling.

Also, 27 is tricky because it doesn't use the IMDB spelling. You have to leave the "The" off for it to register, plus it doesn't want a full movie name.

20/30...for the life of me I couldn't remember the title of #26. And for some reason, it wouldn't accept either of my answers for #3.

And pretty certain the actor in #8 is
Spoiler:
Tim Roth
.

I only missed #8. It would have been more interesting to have used screenshots that didn't have an easily recognizable actor in it.

Yeah, but we're on a DVD/Film forum. For the average citizen, these are challenging enough. I've posted it on two other forums, and the highest score so far is 16.

I didn't know what 1, 2, 8, 9, and 23 were, even though I've seen 1. Haven't seen the others, or even heard of them.

Originally I didnt get 16. I had the right title, but spelled it wrong. Of course, I thought I had spelled it right, so I figured my answer must just be wrong. Or something...

Ditto. I thought I recognized the scene at first glance. It reminded me of a scene from Heat, actually (the scene, at dusk, in the house overlooking the ocean)...but the fact that it was Tim Roth threw that notion out the window. Not only have I never seen the film, I'd never even heard of it. Browsing through the IMDB, I see that it's by the same guy that did Cinema Paradiso (and it's sitting on a 7.8 rating with nearly 5,000 votes). I might have to check it out sometime soon.
