Every Which Way But Loose, starring...The Rock?

Every Which Way But Loose (1978) (2007?)

In this thread we were trying to decide what the greatest primate movie of all time was. A lot of valid entries, and while "Dunston Checks In" might be the current leader, I think this one will take the cake.

This is the type of role that the Rock should be taking.

Par for the course for Rock. Every role he takes is crap. Considering I can't stand him, especially as an actor, no real bother to me. However, he can't even come close to filling Clint's boots, and this remake will pale in comparison to the original. The original wasn't a great movie by any means, but I did find it to be a fun movie.

I love the original and its sequel. While this is a good fit for Rock, I don't like this idea.
