"Afternoon Delight"
hey all, i had a question regarding the song in Anchorman. you know it........ skyrockets in flight, afternoon delight lalala. im pretty sure i had also heard the same thing in Starsky and Hutch (was it the guitar song by owen wilson?) anyway, i brought this up to a friend, and he says he had also heard it was in anouther movie as well, anyone know what else or for sure what it has been in? thanks in advance

2004: On episode 2.06 of Arrested Development (originally aired 19 December 2004), the show was entitled "Afternoon Delight", and a recurring theme was how each of the characters didn't realize how dirty the song was until they started singing it out loud with a family member

When MAD TV was good, there was a funny sketch with David Herman as a sniper assassin, trying to figure out what song's stuck in his head as he sizes up his shot.
