The three new ones you've submitted...#1 looks vaguely familiar, but I can't think of a name. #2 Doesn't ring any bells. #3 Face/Off?

Kevin Dean and JoeyOhhh: you are both correct. I guess only movie #1 remains.

I figured I'd cut out pieces of scenes, because I'm scanning thru a flick, I'm thinking it ALL seems so familiar, but figured if you take a piece of it...maybe a bit harder. Maybe I was wrong...or not. I dunno.

lysander, you're correct. The movie is Man on Fire and there's something that ties all three movies together.

Here's a second shot from the movie in the first set. The other two movies, also with a common theme, were The Transporter and Ronin.

Sometimes things just trigger your memories no matter how you crop it. For me, seeing the 2 swords and the tassel instantly made me think of the sword falling off the wall and being placed back under the tassel in Gremlins, so I figured that was it.

Now if you cropped the image to just a blank wall, that would have been much harder.

Kevin Dean: well, I figured the Gremlins one I figured would be a good trigger like that...it's why I chose those swords...they actually jumped out at me while viewing that scene. Laff...could you imagine 3 screencaps of 3 movies, just of walls. I'd hope there would be wallpaper at least!

Maybe I'll do one with just shots of the sky.

Yep, that's it. The earlier screencap is when Bullitt first goes to the hospital. The theme was movies with car chases (Bullitt, Transporter, Ronin).

Figured I'd try a different thing yet again for the second image. Influenced by GIANT magazine's version of this game we play.

Oh yes...here's another view of the image from Movie #1 in my 2-14 post:

Damn it, those were too easy!

OwlAtHome: it was a one camera shot for about a minute long and she went from one side of the kitchen to the other. So I just "cloned" the image of the wallpaper/painting that would have been behind her head.

The one already guessed (not pictured) was "Man on Fire" --- these all share something pretty common with that movie.

Hints:
- The other two movies don't star Denzel Washington
- The other two movies are both recent (last decade) and both have numerous threads about them on this forum.
