Your favorite 50s movie

So many greats from every genre.

I would pick Throne of Blood (1957) (or its original translation Cobweb Castle)

While there are better films from the decade, my "favorite" is probably Singin' in the Rain.

I've narrowed it down to three:

Tokyo Story (Ozu Yasujiro, 1952)

A Man Escaped (Robert Bresson, 1956)

Rio Bravo (Howard Hawks, 1959)
