A Love Song For Bobby Long

I just saw this excellent movie for the first time tonight. Had been meaning to see it for awhile, being intrigued with the movie poster (which I had bought, see above). Nice to see Travolta in something that allows him to act instaed of some of his recent movies. Scarlett Johansson is as beautiful as ever. My favorite performance though might be from Gabriel Macht who plays Lawson.

I wonder how many of those locations that you see in the movie were ruined by the hurricane?

This was a fantastic film. It's too bad more people haven't seen it.

It is a good movie although predictable (if you can't see the twist coming, something is definitely wrong - and I find it hard to believe that they even tried to make it a 'twistful' conclusion).

Travolta was fine but Macht and Johansson knocked their performances out of the ballpark. I really like that song SJ and JT dance to towards the end, as well.

Yeah nothing really groundbreaking in the story, just a top-to-bottom well-acted movie.

Loved the music and added the soundtrack to my buy list.
