Keaton was also excellent in Ron Howard's "The Paper." Tailor-made for the role and really delivered.

I remember what Kevin Smith said about White Noise in one of his "Evening with..." I once went to:
"White noise, or Batman in front of a radio as I like to call it!"

I'm sure he wishes he could negotiate the same type of deal again also

I really wished Keaton would have participated in a commentary for at least the first Batman. If he'll do one for White Noise and not Batman, then I guess there still has to be some animosity there.

Maybe it was the bat-nipples.

I remember an old story in Entertainment Weekly that talked about Keaton's decision to leave. He thought the movies should be about more about Batman and less about the villains. The emphasis of all the WB Batman movies prior to Batman Begins was on who was playing the bad guys. They got as much if not more screen-time than Batman. It evolved into the villain of the week scenario of the 60's TV show.

Batman Begins changed that completely, thank the maker. The emphasis was on Bruce Wayne/Batman, the way it should be.

They had already dated and split prior to the film, so he already sliced off some of that pussy.
