I'd rather seem him team up with Lucas and make episodes 1-5 first.

Nice bump. It's interesting that some of these have since come to pass (Star Trek, Hulk, Wolfman). Is The Three Stooges still on track?

Re: What other franchises need a reboot?

I thought it was funny someone said they wanted to see a Wolfman redo, but without CGI. Sucks for him!

Three Stooges seems kinda dead right now since the main principals have all seemingly dropped out. But I'm sure it'll happen within the next 5 years.

I'm going with Godzilla. They need to do something to work on erasing the memory of Emmerich's bastardization.

A Highlander is in the works and I welcome it. Especially after having read the script.

I think erasing the name "Godzilla" in the 1998 movie is all that is needed.

It is a decent CGI monster movie, but its a terrible Godzilla feature.

I have to admit, I did laugh with nerd pride when I saw this bit in "Final Wars"

It might be due to the fact I love the millennium Godzilla suit design.

Re: What other franchises need a reboot?

ha, I had hoped for a Children of the Corn remake back in 2005, and low and behold, we were blessed with a paltry DTV offering in 2009. Not exactly what I had in mind.

let's reboot From Dusk Till Dawn, get all the major players, and make a decent trilogy, completely theatrical! Or another Grindhouse installment, though I would prefer them not to try too hard at making it seem so vintage.

yeah well If Toho did Godzilla in all his awesomeness as he was as just a dream in this film than we'd be in the goldness of awesomeness.

Godzilla is probably the most obvious answer.
