It's an 'audition' video with someone doing great impersonations of Jack Nicholson, Joe Pesci, Christopher Walken and others - auditioning for this movie.
I usually think these net videos are retarded, but I laughed at this one.

Found this golden quote on Snakes On A Blog, a riff on Jackson's famous "Pulp Fiction" bible quote:

Esnakeiel 25:17

"The path of the righteous plane is beset on all sides by the iniquities of these snakes and the tyranny of those evil motherfuckers. Blessed is the plane, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the snakes through the friendly skies, for this plane is truly the snakes keeper and the finder of lost as shit motherfuckers. And I will strike down upon thee with lots of venom and motherfucking anger those who would attempt to crash my plane and destroy my snakes. And you will know my name is Samuel L. Motherfuckin’ Jackson when I lay my taser upon thee."

Very well done. There's actually only 4 impersonations.... Nicholson, Pesci, Walken and Robert DeNiro. The guy is spot on- very talented.

I think if you can impersonate an actor than that shows how limited those actors are. A real actor can blend completely into his character- there are no idiosyncracies to impersonate. For example, try impersonating Gary Oldman or Johnny Depp. Now those are real actors.

Popularity is inconsequential; if it's an internet fad, I'll hate it.

Not at all. I've seen some great impersonations of Johnny Depp. Seen him in interviews? Oh, he's a character.

I think that goes to show even more how good an actor he is. You can impersonate the "real-life" Depp but not the Depp that is portrayed in film. Meaning he has idiosyncracies in real life but completely shrouds them in his movies. If you had never seen any of his interviews, is he still impersonable?

All those other actors mentioned are only one character, both in real life and in movies.

The teaser that played with X3 last night had everyone in my theater marking out. Go figure.

What is Marking out? Haven't heard the phrase before. I knew instantly when it started what film it was for...and the teaser played really well in my theatre...very SHORT (too short actually, not enough real footage) but it was very effective and people were cheering. Great way to market the film IMO, New Line finally realizes the appeal and potential of this flick.

You usually hear that phrase among wrestling fans. When we see something that we think is really cool, like anyone, we cheer and really get into it. That is what "marking out" means.

I read it as "making out" at first.

Awesome. The trailer played today for X3, and while no marking out took place, everyone did laugh. Can't wait.

I don't think it's possible for a film about snakes on a plane to be take seriously. In fact, this kind of shit belongs with those Sci-Fi channel creature flicks that Sci-Fi has inundated their channel with.

did anyone watch Dateline NBC last night (5/31)? During their sting operation, the screen name they used for the underage girl was "snakesonagirl".

While the subject of the show was serious, I could not help but laugh at how widespread this film has become.

Tacking this trailer to the beginning of X3 was a great idea. Anybody who liked X3 will probably think Snakes On A Plane is a work of genius.

I haven't been able to take Dateline seriously since they started that crap. It feels more like a day time tabloid show now. When you have a "reporter" walking up to a completely naked guy asking why he's walking around with cool whip and casing a cat, it's time to find something else to do.

I agree. How many times are they going to do the "same" show.
