That trailer is awesome.

Me: "I can't wait to go see Snakes on a Plane.
Them: "What's it about?"
Me: "..."

Wow, that looks almost as good (read: bad) as I had imagined.

The only way I could draw that conclusion from the trailer would be if:

1. There were no snakes.
and/or
2. There was no plane.

Well, at least it delivers on the title. I went to Sneakers thinking it was a documentery on Nike.

I think I may take off work on August 18. I am incredibly excited for this film after seeing that trailer.

"Enough is enough. I've had it with these snakes."

Meanwhile, I was in the next theater watching The Big One, thinking it was a heist movie.

The unintentional comedy scale just shattered.

I just want to know how they got a director who can deliver b-movie thriller gold (Final Destination 2 and Cellular) and one of the better actors in Hollywood to agree to be associated with this god-awful idea.

However, the idea is so goddamn terrible that I just want to see the movie based on the premise alone. Pretty much on the basis that I know that SOAP is a train wreck waiting to happen.

Sam Jackson is not one of the better actors in Hollywood. He is an acting whore, he does everything he can.

Kenen Thompson? Oh boy. I was going to skip this till I looked at the imdb page and saw that there is a character named ipod girl, and one named big leroy. Now I am intrigued.

Somebody needs to make a GIF of Sam tasing the snake. I could watch that for hours.

My girlfriend refuses to see it based on the title alone - the trailer didn't help my case. Guess I'll have to see it alone.

i'm convinced this is a joke/experiment to see how badly people like us could tear it apart.

it just cannot be an actual release.

I can't help thinking of Eight Legged Freaks when I watch it. That was a really enjoyable and funny parody so I reckon Snakes could be a lot of fun if it's in the same mould. I just hope the CGI in the trailer doesn't represent the final version - looks rather rough 'n' ready.
