Schwarzenegger Signs for Big Money Sequels?

Hollywood action man Arnold Schwarzenegger may be set to juggle his role as California Governor with a return to the big screen - he has reportedly agreed to star in two big money sequels. The actor-turned-politician has agreed to re-team with Oscar-winning director James Cameron in a fourth Terminator installment in addition to a sequel to True Lies, according to website Moviehole.net. Eliza Dushku, who is excited about reprising her role as Schwarzenegger's daughter in True Lies 2, says, "We all caught up. Me, Jamie Lee Curtis, Arnold, and Jim (James Cameron), to talk about True Lies 2, about a month ago in California. We're doing it. Definitely doing it. I'm revved." And John Rosengrant, who is a special effects expert at Stan Winston Studios, confirms work on Terminator 4 is at a very early stage: "It's too early to figure out what a new Terminator would look like, or anything like that. You see the script and what spark comes from that, (talk) with the director and see what the vision is. It does no good to dream it up unless you write a treatment and try to get out there and sell it yourself."

Saw this on IMBD who knows if it is true.

No (R-Rated) KING CONAN = NO SALE

Well, maybe another Terminator if James Cameron is indeed involved with it....

Sheesh - of all the movies Cameron COULD make, why a sequel to TRUE LIES? This was a fun popcorn flick, but of all his movies (other than Piranna 2!) it had the least depth to it.

Seriously i hope he completes the trilogy with King Conan, he's supposed to be all bearded like Thor's dad in the comics anywho, and have it gory like Gladiator.

I would love to see a True Lies 2. It's about time we have a real action director back making action movies none of this Doug Liman crap.

I live in California and I "Luff This Guy!"

I'm an old man.

With our education system, I can read some Harry Potter books and swipe the jobs right out from the the noses of those up and coming young people.

Kintergarten Kop indeed.

Terminator 4? There have only been 2 Terminator movies made so far.

Must be a typo.

Heard about this on a local entertainment report on the radio. Don't know if it's true, but great news still. Love True Lies, and would welcome a sequel. If Cameron is involved with both films, it's even better news. Wish he would disregard the events of T3 and take the franchise in a different direction. One can dream.

This also no doubt means a special edition DVD of True Lies.

I'm betting they'll be not so subtle political compaigns.

True Lies 2 finds Agent Harry Tasker on his most difficult assignment yet; running a country. After a terrorist attack wipes out the current government, it's up to one man to step in and save the day. Watch with awe as he handles delicate international treaties and marvel at his generous tax cuts.

Terminator 4 returns the familiar T-800 to our present day with one mission; running a country. After it completes it mission of wiping out the current government, it's up to one machine to step in and rule with an iron fist. Watch with awe as it handles delicate international treaties and marvel at it's generous tax cuts.

I could see him doing a supporting, almost beefed up cameo role, in T4, but I can't see him doing 2 full movies unless he isn't planning on getting re-elected. I suspect this is just a PR move to keep the movie star image polished.

Don't forget to bring back Tom Arnold and the skinny guy for True Lies.

I can definitely see Tia Carrerre in the sequel too. How is she looking?

If True Lies 2 is in the works, hopefully this means the long rumored special edition of True Lies will come out as well, in region 1 of course.
