This finally got to my local theater this weekend. Wow! There are so many layers to this, it took me several hours afterwords to let them sink in. Easily my favorite of 2005.

I've just started reading the Capote biography by Gerald Clarke that much of the movie is based on, it's really entertaining so far. Highly recommended to anyone who left the movie wanting to know more about Capote.

I just saw this last night. It was interesting enough, I guess, but I don't really see where all the accolades are coming from. And from the reviews I read, I was expecting much more of an emotional whallop at the end. I wasn't particularly enthralled with Hoffman's performance, either.
