OK, removing the drugs and scientology (the official state religion of California, or what?)and method acting/'stupid actor tricks' which is basically their job -- Kinski keeps coming up, he was basically a sex addict (read his autobio, All I Need Is Love - non-stop xxx action, for real!) and had a screwed up relationship w his kids, but his over the top tantrums qualify him for true eccentricity. Crispin Glover's rants following his unreleasable movie, "What is It?" and his bizarre individualistic method of acting, which relies more on creativity than believability, puts him solidly in the realm of crazy. Likewise was Timothy Carey, best known as the sniper in Kubrick's "The Killing" and the auteur behind "The World's Greatest Sinner", who apparently had an obsession with farting and made a short called "The World's Greatest Farter". hmmmmm.... And let's not forget good ol' Margot Kidder.
