Who is Han Solo? The topic clearly states where Mal is from, but Im drawing a blank on Han Solo? Was he from Lord of the Rings or Amityville Horror?

Two Words: Han Solo.

Okay, I realize Han is cooler...but has anyone seen the kind of torture Mal can withstand? He's been shot, electo-shocked, stabbed, had his f'ing ear cut off...and still comes back for more. Han got a little shock from Vader in EMPIRE STRIKES BACK and he pretty much collapsed in Chewie's arms when they drug him back to his cell.

Han is cooler, but Mal is tougher, no doubt.

Solo gets the better tail.

Even though Han has a Wookie, Mal has Jayne and Jayne would probably shoot Chewie before anything ever happened. Just read at my signature.

Mal and Han is sort of a wash(d'oh) depending on one on one or with their crews. I'm going with Han purely because as loyal as Mal's crew is.......Han gives orders to a Wookie and the wookie obeys him(mostly)

Han Solo either way. Even if Han dies, Mal would get his arms torn out of his sockets by Chewy and get beaten to death with them.

I personally think River could take Chewie in a fight...she killed - what - about 50 Reavers in Serenity all on her own? :)

If it's just Mal vs. Han (with no interefrerence from any Wookies) - Mal would kick Han's ass.
Han's shown me that he's a wise ass, but never that he's a bad ass, least of all in a fight. Mal's done both.

I voted that "They would take job working together" because, as fun as it'd be to pit these two guys against one another, they'd much rather make a killing smuggling under the noses of the Empire and the Alliance instead of beating one another in a fist fight with no profit to be had.
