i know it's a lame list

I Am Sam - any father should be inspired by this

8 mile - not a great movie by any means but after watching it i wanted to get up and do something artistic

Remember the Titans - especially the "i don't want them to gain another yard, you blitz all night. You make them remember the night they played the Titans" scene

Chariots of Fire, it's a little cheesy but it's probably my favorite movie about athleticism and the different motivations people have. The scene where Eric Liddle falls and the camera follows him as he gets up and mows down runner after runner is easily in my top five goosebump inducing "holy shit" moments in movie history.

The similar final race scene in The Black Stallion has a similar effect on me.

Rocky II

Often made fun of, I still think Rocky Balboa running with all those kids is one of the most moving, best filmed moments in movie history.

It's a toss up between the Pasion of the Christ and the Kentucky Fried Movie.

The Passion of the Christ

I was outside the theater with a group of about 30 other atheists. We were mocking the people that went in to see it, and were generally causing trouble/protesting the film. Then, a mysterious stranger appeared and bought us all tickets to the film so we could see it ourselves.

When we came out, all of us were Christians. Every soul was saved that day.
