Wow, Flightplan did a lot better than I thought, and Corpse Bride did a fair bit worse. And Roll Bounce will actually make about $6 million, which is $4 million more than I thought.
Again though, very strange that people actually wanted to see Flightplan.

I think it was the heavy advertising that pushed Flight Plan out the gate. Corpse got a similar push in different venues and outlets. But I though Flight plan was plastured more with tv ads. Guess that's my view of it.
Either way, it's not terrible numbers. Looks like it will pull in about 19-21 million for the weekend. I was expecting it to do 23 or so.

Was looking for A History of Violence, but I guess I'll have to wait till next week. In the meantime saw Flightplan instead.
and will check out Corpse Bride sometime during the week.

Not bad for Corpse Bride. I've heard it's budget was only $30 Million, so it shouldn't have any problems making that back.
Definately looking forward to History of Violence as well. I thought the trailer looked pretty good, but I'm still suprised at how good the reviews have been.
