Green Street Hooligans
In the vein of the Football Factory and the Firm (not the Cruise movie), Green Street Hooligans has Elijah Woods kicked out of Harvard and going accross to London to become a football hooligan.
Sounds stupid ?
Great movie, very well done and decent performance by Elijah
Highly recommended unless your squeamish about realistic violence

DVD Talk Legend
Watched this last weekend...Pretty entertaining film with some good fight scenes and action. I felt Wood was a little "wimpy" for the role at times, but gave a good performance along with the guy from undeclared (cant think of his name right now). Little disappointed in the end, but didnt take away from the rest of the movie in my opinion.

I enjoyed this one also, but a little confused on the name. Here it's called Hooligans, in England Green Street Hooligans and somewhere else it's just called Green Street.

It's simply called Green Street in the UK, as the "Hooligan-ness" of it is understood. As for calling it 'Green Street Hooligans' elsewhere, I am assuming that the connection is there, but maybe not as stong as the UK..and obviously not many from the US have any idea what Green Street is.

Resurrection!!!
I'd assume it is a location in England. Somewhere around the Westham club?
Just finished watching this. I had no idea what it was about when I started, just saw that Hunnam was in it, and think he is dreamy, though not so much bald. I thought it was great. From the looks of that bloke thread with this in it, I may want to check out The Firm, and Football Factory.
My question is, is this really what goes down there? They're literally fanatics? Forming gangs in support of the soccer clubs. Scary.
