Post some of your OLD SCHOOL Movies that you remember...

My friend sent me a link to this today:

Rad - 1986

That made me think of this movie:

Gleaming The Cube - 1989

And this movie:

Cloak & Dagger - 1984

I also have one that I can't think of the name. I kinda remember the plot being of a kid moving to a new town / school. He's picked on and crap. They are a bunch of rollerbladers... I think he ends up racing one of the bullies or something and beating him then becoming "cool"...

Well, since I'm relatively young, let me be the first to submit "Old School."

tbird2340, the movie about Rollerbladers is called Airborne, which btw also starred Seth Green and a younger, thinner Jack Black.

USA High? Terrible show - like Saved By the Bell with American exchange students in France.

This was a made-for-tv movie on NBC. It starred a few NBC sitcom actors at that time ( 80's ). Michael J. Fox, Nacy McKean, Todd Bridges.

Yep. That's it.

Great cast.

I had it on video and never realized it was a TV movie. Apparently, it was a long pilot episode that they hoped would become a series. It was 100 minutes long and I always thought it was a movie.

I thought this was going to be about filmstrips you remember from school, and I was going to mention "Uncle Smiley." Does anyone remember that?

Dr. Detroit
Weird Science
Flight of the Navigator
The Last Starfighter
Midnight Madness
One Crazy Summer

I would also list others like most of the ones above but I was trying to keep it to ones that hadn't been mentioned yet.
