NOT SO FAST, there, Fielding Melish!

Jay and Silent Bob made a impromptu cameo in the slasher flick Scream 3.

SCENE: Jay and Silent Bob spot Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) on the set of "Stab 3" and Jay pokes Silent Bob and says, "Hey! It's Connie Chung!" At that point, Cox gives them the finger.

I also like Truman Capote in Annie Hall.

Some interesting choices. I think mine would be:

Arthur C. Clarke in 2010
Paul Ryder / Christoper Eccleston / Mark E. Smith - 24 Hour Party People
Robert Mitchum / Gregory Peck - Cape Fear (1992)
Jason Schwartzman - The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy
Frank Oz - The Blues Brothers
David Fincher - Being John Malkovich
Harvey Keitel - Get Shorty
Eddie Bunker - Reservoir Dogs
Johnny Chan - Rounders
Kurt Vonnegut - Back to School
Billy Idol - The Doors
Robbie the Robot - Gremlins

And i think the best overall is

Kevin Spacey - Se7en

Great cameos, especially Mitchum and Peck.

"Did you just let fuckin' Screech in the club?"

Made is really just about looking for the cameos--Vaughn's dad, Favreau's mom, Jennifer Esposito, Sam Rockwell, Jon Silverman, Tom Morello, Furio and Adriana from The Sopranos, a couple New York Jets, and of course Screech.

cameo  Pronunciation[kam-ee-oh]

–noun,
4. Also called cameo role. a minor part played by a prominent performer in a single scene of a motion picture or a television play.

I don't think some of these would be considered cameos. Especially Kevin Spacey in Se7en as he was in more than one scene and he was a central character.

I have to agree. Not only that, but doesn't one need to be a star before one can have a cameo? The Usual Suspects which catapaulted him to stardom was released a mere month earlier than Se7en. Before that it was bit parts in mostly average films.

My favorite part of watching Pirahna last month may have been the scene at the beginning with Richard Dreyfuss.
