The South Will Rise Again

Well I was a zombie in this movie, and I made the trailer. Just wanted to share it with you guys. I make no money on this, and make no claims to the content of the movie.

Looks pretty funny (much better than Redneck Zombies, anyway ). The website claims you've only made a trailer so far... What was your budget for that?

not sure really....I think they shot this as a pitch trailer. The budget was ok. It was close to a 40 man crew, 200 extras, and two panavision cameras with a crane.

Being from coastal Alabama, I thought it was pretty funny

What are two things you never want to hear from a redneck? "Hang on!" and "watch this!"

Looks like fun. I'd see the full length feature.

Pretty cool, actually. It would be neat if enough funding came together to make a full feature. Keep us posted!

Oh hell. Well it looks funny, but I gotta say I was kind of expecting something like the zombies were all dead confederate soldiers who lumber around trying to continue the civil war.
As it is it looks like a southern version of Shaun of the Dead.

All my thoughts exactly. The characters were a little too cartoonish for my tastes, but thankfully nowhere near Troma level.

I absolutely love that title.

2001 Maniacs (the remake) actually has a musical number in it called: "The South Will Rise Again"

If they shot this as a pitch trailer, and you were in it, were you really that surprised that you made the trailer?
