Best and Worst moments in the prequel trilogy?

Pretty simple IMO.

Good:

Lightsaber battles
Palpatine's scenes, especially scenes with him and Anakin

Bad:

Dialog
Anakin and Padme
Jake Lloyd
Jar Jar
Hayden in AOTC

Everything else is average.

The worst had to be the "Nooooo!!!!!" line by Vader in ROTS.

Too much to get into. For the most part I liked it all. Warts and all. Only had minor complaints about AOTC (love scenes, riding animals scenes), TPM even had its moments. ROTS rocked! :)

Am I the only person that hates the Yoda fighting scenes?

I loved the Yoda fighting scenes! It's not as if he became such a legendary Jedi because he talks funny. I could just do without the kung-fu poses.

Best:
When Darth Maul makes his entrance during that battle in the hangar bay.

Worst:
Anything Jar Jar related.
The "nooooooo" was pretty retarded as well as the wookie doing the tarzan yell.

Just noticed that Obi-Wan is in almost all of my favorite parts and in none of the parts I disliked. Coincidence? I think not.

Ewan kicked ass in the PT...I like his portrayal of Obi Wan better than Alec's...

I just got back from a second viewing of ROTS, and I have to say that the emotional outburst from Obi-Wan in the closing moments of the battle with Anakin was not only the highlight of the trilogy, but near the top of my list for the entire saga. That was great heartwrenching stuff, and it stood in contrast to the rather sterile nature of most of the characters in the prequels.

Also great moments for me for the PT:
- The opening scenes on Grievous' ship in ROTS - Loved every second of it.
- The Darth Maul duel
- The Kenobi/Ankin Duel (aside from the ending, the moment when the two clashed on the bridge with a lava explosion in the backdrop was very well-done)
- Christopher Lee just being
- Ian McDiarmid

The worst:
- I gave Hayden Christensen a break in AOTC, but his performance for most of ROTS was really poor. His best scenes were non-speaking.
- Jar Jar, of course
- "Yippee!" etc.
- Most of the personal dialogue
- That god forsaken lizard that Kenobi rode
- C3PO's and Boba Fett's origins

Pretty much agreed with everyone on the best moments, why does no one talk that much about Anakin v. Obi? THat was the fight everyone MOST wanted to see and i'm happy that it wasn't too over the top, instead it was realistic and brutal, as they should be ! Like Luke v. Vader in ESB.

worst - "I killed them all....even the women...and...children."

Worst - An eopie farting in Jar-Jar's face(I laughed, but it was still horrid)

Best - Way too many for me to name just one.

- In Ep3 when OBI 1 fights Grievous, he does that really gay pose for a few seconds (I really cringe).

I dont know if it is one of the best or worst but for sure it is one of the most powerful scene:

-Anakin and younglins at Jedi temple.

I hate that scene and love it for how it portrays Anakin. Its one of the scenes that has stayed with me since seeing it. I also agree with Mad Dawg and enjoyed the emotional outburst from Obi-Wan in the closing moments of the battle with Anakin.

But on the flip side I thought the best shot of AOTC was after he sliced down the first Tuskans, and the camera zooms in to show this evil look in his eyes as the fade/swipe comes in from the left. That gave me immediate hope for Ep.3 back then.

For some reason, I really like the pod race. If it had been a cocky 14 year old Anakin doing it, it would have been perfect. Of course, the pod race being my hands down favorite HT demo might have something to do with it.

Ugh...forgot to add that. Flying R2 and C3PO's puns nearly ruined the end of AOTC for me. Obi-Wan had a bad pun or two in AOTC as well, "that was short" and I think one other. Lucas must've been in a phase or something.
