Was Mon Mothma in this? She has an action figure. I figure she's just with Bail Organa in a few scenes or something, but I missed her.

Is there anything after/during the credits?

Also, I think there were 3 Falcons in Ep. 2.

Good catch. She's in the book too and I was expecting her since she's one of the two main Rebel leaders. Perhaps she got reduced to a non-speaking role or cut out entirely. I'll have to watch for her next time.

Jeremy Bullock (OT Boba Fett) is the Tantavie IV pilot in Ep. III. Look for him in the pilot chair on the left side of the cockpit in some scenes toward the end of the film. I think it's when Bail, Yoda and Obi-Wan are returning to deactivate the Jedi recall beacon signal.

I remember hearing someone called "Captain Antilles." Unless it's a common name, he is probably Wedge Antilles' father.

*edit* I'm watching ANH, and caught this line of dialogue:

C-3PO: He says he's the property of Obi-Wan Kenobi, a resident of
these parts. And it's a private message for him. Quite frankly, sir I
don't know what he's talking about. Our last master was Captain
Antilles, but with what we've been through, this little R2 unit has
become a bit eccentric.

So looks like the Captain Antilles in ROTS at the very least comes in possession of 3PO and R2, and is more than likely Wedge's father. A double shout-out to the OT.

Lucas should have imposed Peter Cushing's head image from those Hammer movies instead of using the lookalike.

Yeah it was heavy makeup. There's a headshot of him that's been posted here .

I'm a huge fan of Tarkin. I wish there was more of him in ep III.

On the mural in the background of the scene where Palpatine reveals himself to Anakin (not in the pedophile way, mind you), there is a carving or painting of something that resembles the head of the creature from Alien. Actually it looks like two Aliens looking at each other. It's too blurry to make out details, but the HR Giger phalic shape seems to be there.

Missed that one completely. Where'd he show up?

Also, Chewbacca was there, still being played by Peter Mayhew. Dunno if that counts.

he was the alien at the planet grievous was on that came out and met obi wan when he first landed. he had crazy teeth(but probably normal for what ever species he was playing), which seems to be his trademark
I think there's a pic in the pics thread, I'll look

Did not see that Falcon the 1st at the 12:15am showing, but I saw later that night at the 8:10pm showing. Told all my friends about it and that they should look in the lower right part of the screen (inbetween the right corner and the middle of the scree), but none of the guys saw it - but 2 of the girls saw it.

How exactly are Chewbacca, Wedge Antille's father, and Tarkin cameo's? Um they fit into the story right where they are supposed to like Luke & leia. They all have their parts. I think a few need to know what a "cameo" is:

A brief appearance of a prominent actor, as in a single scene of a motion picture
So Lucas, his kids, Mousey, and Bullock are cameo's. i.e. Actors in a role.

Chewbacca, R2, Threepio, Tarkin, Captain Antilles, Owen & Beru, etc. are not. They are characters in a story.

I was expecting to see Chewbacca get captured though.

Uhh... Okay. Might want to read the first post before going off on people not understanding what a cameo is.

Take note of the subject... "Cameos etc" Take note of the OP's post. "Was there any other 'fun' stuff to spot in the movie that I might have missed?" I think a few need to re-read the OP.

yes. I have no idea where, but she's in it
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0642444/
and this isn't a case of imdb getting it wrong. I saw her in the credits

Yeah, you're right. Been too long since they've released an EU-post ROTJ novel, that slipped my mind. Still, a nice tie in with ANH, Captain Antilles being the one Vader interrogates and strangles, in addition to being the droids "owners" at the time.

When Palpatine is speaking with Windu regarding how Anakin saved them, good to be back, blah blah, I believe Lucas' oldest daughter is standing behind Palpatine.

Apparently the new sound (on the DVD) that Obi Wan makes to scare away the Sand People in Episode 4 is the same sound as creature he rides in Episode 3.

Good lord, really? I haven't even cracked my OT discs but there is no way Obi-Wan was riding around on a krayt dragon. Those things are supposed to be able to eat Banthas (EU, I know...but still...)
