i voted for the mace duel

I enjoy the OT duels more for the dialogue that is happening while they're fighting than the actual fighting itself. The PT has fights that are better choreographed, but they're really flat.

It looks like there's a cycle of "taunting" that goes on throughout the saga.

You start with the first episode having no dialogue whatsoever thanks to Darth Maul (A straight up Sith pitbull) Then go on to Dooku (Former Jedi turned Sith--Who does his share of talking in AOTC, and more as we'll soon see in ROTS) So once the last Sith apprentice is vanquished, we'll head into the OT to see the Sith Lord who started the whole talking-while-fighting scenario.

Darth Maul/Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan

Well the movie's out. Anybody want to change their vote? I'm changing mine from Kenobi/Skywalker to Palps/Yoda.

Yoda was awesome in this film. I loved when he threw the saber into the clonetrooper and jumped on his chest to pull it out.

i was most looking forward to the Mace duel but i was fairly disappointed with it. Mace matched him in intensity and anger but the duel was too short and i would have liked to see more full shots. too much closeup work there. Mace's death was well done though. same thing with the Dooku fight

after seing it Obi-Wan/Anakin was by far the best duel.

I'm still on the fence. The fight with Sidious & Yoda is excellent, especially as they"rise" into the senate chamber sabers A-blazin'! But Anakin and Obi-Wan's fight is just so intense and long, it's hard to choose between them. But I gues if put to the point, I'd have to vote for Anakin & Obi-Wan purely because it above all others signals the "truest" end of Anakin and the birth of Vader.

i picked it over the Sideous/Yoda fight because it lacked polish. the Anakin/Obi-Wan fight was dirty and personal and had history behind it. they where kicking and tripping and it seemed more like they wanted to genuenly hurt each other. the dialogue was strong for both but the final words by obi-wan cut to the bone.

I loved them all, wish they were longer, but I really enjoyed the Obi-Wan/Grevious one.

I liked the 4 arm saber bit even though it was way too short.
