Are those tickets for the past 20years reflects your lonely life of watching it by yourself? without any dates at all?

Didn't your mother ever teach to that if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all? My mother didn't, but it's common sense for me. What is your excuse? Just a prick or what?

Will ticket stubs ever become valuable in the future and if not, then what's the purpose, except for having tons of stubs stored everywhere occupying space. To me, their useless, what can you do with them?

i have every stub from the last year. my brother and i go just about every weekend. also, i have alot of old sporting event tickets and from plays at school, etc. kind of weird to collect things like this but it doesn't take up much room yet.

Usually when I keep my stubs I'll placed it underneath the back cover of the respective DVD case if/when I purchase the movie.

I started keeping them in the early 80's too and even wrote on the back who I went with, the date, etc so it's interesting to look at them now. I was in my early teens then. Today I keep the big ones like LOTR, Star Wars, etc and throw away the ones from films I didn't like. Here's some of the ones I have from way back listed below. I figured I'd bump this thread because like Oldboy I collect the ticket stubs for every movie is see. However, it looks like this may be an end to an era. I saw Jurassic World last week and the "stub" I was given was just as thin and flimsy as a regular sales receipt. I guess the cost of printing out thick paper tickets has become too high. Oh well, it was a good ride while it lasted but it's just another small piece of my youth that has come to pass.

I used to save concert tickets. Has anyone noticed that whatever ink ticketmaster uses on their tickets fades almost completely away? Is it me or everybody?

Never like that. I used to when I was in high school but threw all that shit out.

I save my concert tickets but don't have a ton of them (probably less than twenty).

I did have my movie tickets saved for a while but I glued them into the pages of a large notebook. At some point I lost it and have no idea what ever happened to it. Now days the theater I go to the tickets are printed on receipt paper and the ink fades after a while so I just toss them.

Anyone have any good ideas for a notebook type of thing for concert tickets. I've been looking for long time but haven't come up with a good plan. I don't want one of those stick pages thing.

I started collecting mine when my wife and I started dating. On our 10 year anniversary, I gave them all to her in a nice scrapbook, sorted by date. All of the concerts we attended are in there too. It actually turned out pretty cool, and she was surprised since she had no idea I was saving them.

There are actual binder type products specifically made for people who save concert tickets. Some of mine I also have show posters for and am planning to frame the poster and ticket together.

I save my movie stubs. Got them in a binder with those plastic trading card sleeves. Farthest back that I have is 1998.

All of mine are okay. Some of them have areas where the ink rubbed off, but I think that may have been from them being in my wallet or something. All the ones I have are still readable.

Some scrapbooking binders aren't sticky, That's what I use. I have a lot of stubs based of most people's reactions. I also to (when I can) to get handbills for concerts that I was at - the art ones, not the posted on campus ones.

I knew someone who put their concert tickets on a backing board or matted them and framed them and had it on display like you would a painting. It was really cool.

I keep it if I like the movie and if I buy the movie I usually stick it in the case. I wish I had kept them from movies I have seen in the 70's. It would have been sort of neat having them with the DVD or BD.

i think i am gonna do that photo book thing for my stubs. some are no longer readable, but think it would be nice to have them not jammed in that stupid canister anymore...

Any idea where to get them? I've looked around at Hobby Lobby, Michaels, some scrapbook stores, Amazon,... and haven't found anything very serviceable. Probably looking at 500+ concert tickets.

Been keeping mine since 2003. My going out to the movies has slowed down quite a bit over the last three years or so, more then I would prefer. I used to keep the tickets in trading card binder sleeves then moved them over into an area on an organizer because the binder was not needed anymore.
