Chuck Norris would not only demolish the bear, he would rip off it's fur with his bare hands and make a rug out of it.

One of the best characters ever on that show.

And Chuck by DQ when Joe Piscopo runs in and hits him with a chair.

Top Dog Chuck or Silent Rage/MIA Chuck? If the latter, I vote Chuck.

Actually, Walker (Texas Ranger) did fight a bear at least once on the show. He and the DA chick were roughing it up in the Alaskan wild, on the run after some local thugs ambushed their party, which at the time was investigating an old airplane reckage from a plane used to escape a bank robbery in texas. I don't recall how the fight ended, other than Walker was severely wounded and the bear ran off. I remember he had to help the DA chick find herbs to heal his wound.

TV shows tend to focus on creating drama instead of accurately representing the laws of reality. The bear beating Walker is just one such example.

In a fight....or a competition to see who has the hairiest back?

I'm thinking Chuck would win either way.

Hey, if Sir Anthony Hopkins took care of a bear, I'm betting Chuck could do it.
