Kill Bill's Bride vs. Sin City's Miho: who would win?
Both are quite expert at the samurai sword, and both have killed their share of people.
If the two tussled who would win? I would have to give the edge to Miho because The Bride has some emotional baggage.

Based on just the portrayals in the movies, the edge is to Miho.
In Sin City, Miho dispatches everyone lightning quick, and apparently never gets injured. She's almost etheral in action and appearance.
The Bride wipes out a larger number of foes, but also takes a lot of hits. She's obviously much more vulnerable, getting into positions where it's almost as much luck as skill that gets her out of them.
The motives behings differences are obvious. By making The Bride vulnerable, it ratchets up the tension and makes the character more beleivable and sympathetic. In contrast, in Sin City, Miho is a secondary character, while the character Dwight is the one that is vulnerable and gets into scrapes he may not be able to get out of.
One-on-one, it's hard to say, since all of Miho's opponents were obviously no clear match for her. The Bride, on the other hand, took on several opponents that were at least near as effective killers as her. The Bride might win with experience.

Miho went up against scrubs, and that made her look better than she is. basically, the fight would be similar to Bride vs. Gogo. Miho make look like she's getting the upper hand, but better training and experience will give the Bride the win.

Ogami Itto (Lone Wolf and Cub) would destroy them both in a split second, but I'd go with the Bride. Miho didn't seem to have that "Bitch, you're lifes over" thing goin, and Beatrix would end her in anyway possible, perhaps including Eye-Gouging and Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique.

Miho. While Beatrix is likely a more superior swordsman, Miho is a quicker, stealthier, and smarter combatant. Beatrix has, in many situations, left herself vulnerable to attacks by her opponents, while Miho, on the other hand, has never gotten harmed during combat and has sliced through her opponents without breaking a sweat (although she has gotten blown away by a hand grenade, an even then so, didn't retain any physical harm whatsoever), albeit almost all of them weren't anywhere near Miho's skill level. As for Miho's speed and strategic ability, she has dismembered dozens of people (with guns aimed at her point blank range) before they could even react whatsoever, and is always very methodical when taking on her opponents, pinpointing any/all of their weak spots during combat, pouncing on any opportunity she has to take them down. In short, The Bride lacks conviction, Miho doesn't.

Another newbie 13-year thread bump. How many have we had this month?
(At least this one knows how to spell, punctuate and use the shift key.)

Actually, I'm off to make a poll about it.
