What the hell is that?

Pretty sure it's the beginning of what has been called a viral marketing campaign for Serenity.

It is a small film that showed up on Ifilm today without any warning.

Really cool and effective...if Serenity were a horror film. I can only think that someone might see this and think that Serenity (though its never explicitly makes reference to Serenity) is some kind of horror movie.

my walMart had 8 copies of issue 1 with the Mal cover today, I slid them behind Archie, so if anyone wants one I am willing to pick them up for them...

How can you tell if something is a first edition print? Sorry, not into comic books, but I did pick up all 3 covers of the first comc book.

i think they actually say 2nd printing near the ups code, but im not certain...

Also, it'll usually say second printing in the little text usually found on the bottom of the first page (can't recall if that's where it is in Serenity).. y'know, in with all the legal, small type text.

For the record. most, if not all comics now a days will not be worth much. Just collect them because you want them. It wont matter if it's first or second printing.

That's true, but I'm odd in that I have no desire to sell any of mine, but I'd still rather have first printings if I can.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if there lands up being a trade paperback collecting the three issues with possible extra stuff, like sketches or interviews. And y'know, I'll buy that too!

Not a bad review. I sure hope "Mass Audiences" give it a chance. Afterall they did go see the last three Star Wars movies and this has got to be loads better than anything in those.

The Serenity panel had a line that literally went around the block of the hotel, it was insane. As always, a fun panel with Adam Baldwin, Ron Glass, Jewel Staite, and Morena Baccarin.

The Shindig at Dragon Con was pretty cool to see in person, I'll have photos up one of these days...
