I assume this was a straight to video crapfest?

Dracula 2000: Great concept, poor execution.

DRACULA 2000 has two sequels, DRACULA II and DRACULA III. The third entry in the series has been sitting on the shelf at Dimension for some time, but will be finally released on DVD this summer.

DRACULA 3000 is not related to this series.

I agree with anybody who says "it looks like they made up this movie as they went along".

(I still say its a better film than 'Ratcatcher')

Dracula 2000 was an average vampire film with an above average twist regarding the origins of Dracula. I was so impressed by this "Revelation" that I own the film, just for that.

As for Dracula II: Ascension, I'll say this:

If you can't get the same actor to play the LEAD role, leave it be. I was SO disappointed in that film. Hopefully III will be better, but I'm doubting it.

Here's a good rule of thumb: If it ends in a triple zero number (2000, 3000) it's bad. Bad, bad, bad.
