Tom Selleck! Couldn't have made a better choice!

Didn't know if this would be better in the TV or Movie forum...but put it here, since this is going to be a theatrical film.

Spoiler:
I really want to see what Clancy started to put to paper when he was doing a version of the Magnum PI script.

Well, if they were going to do a Magnum, the only way I'd give it the time of day is if Selleck reprised the role. So, good news. I'm wondering though if they'll set the story with Magnum being older, or use makeup and training to make him look younger. He still looks like he's in great shape, and he does look a bit younger than his age.

Oh c'mon you think Don Johnson is gonna sell more tickets than Colin Farrell?
Personally, I think more people will go to the film if its better than if it has some big name star. Then again, Tom Selleck isn't exactly some small character actor that people never heard of, and he's a better actor as far as I'm concerned than Clooney Ferrell.
For what it's worth Popcorn, Ferrell didn't sell many tickets to Alexander, Swat, The Recruit, or Phone Booth. So at this point, I'd have to say Johnson.
