He got it from the credits at the end of the movie. He apparently thought that was the song that was playing.

All of the music in Almost Famous works so well, including Led Zeppelin's Tangerine at the end.

While perusing my movies for something to watch, I found another one I'd forgotten about that I always liked. May seem kind of dumb, but...

Jason Robards and Corey Feldman dancing/lip-synching to the duet of Mel Torme and Mickey Thomas singing "Dream A Little Dream Of Me" during the end credits of the movie of the same name.

This song is used a lot! I remember it also at the end of 50 First Dates and Finding Forrester.

Rypro, that's the best example yet.

To add another one from '99, how about Because, at the end of American Beauty.

Build Me Up Buttercup was the first thing that popped into my head. In fact, it is one of the few songs I actually remember that played during the credits. I'm sure the accompanying video has something to do with that.

"Extreme Ways" by Moby. I was literally smiling ear-to-ear when they played it at the end of "Supremacy". Didn't think they'd use the same song (heck, they didn't even use the same director), but was glad they did.

About "American Beauty", I was suprised to find out that was the late Elliott Smith that performed it, since it sounds so similar to the "unplugged" version on Anthology 3. But I guess The Beatles never let people use their tracks on soundtracks.

No dumb at all. Actually the best part of the movie!

Jim Carroll's "People Who Died" at the end of "Dawn of the Dead" (2004) kicked ass.

I echo the other for Look On The Bright Side Of Life (all Things Dull and Ugly).

Meaning of Life brings a smile to my face too.
