Fox Studio Classics - Evaluating them based on FILM QUALITY only

Yes, this thread is basically just me looking for recommendations, but so what? I couldn't find anything here discussing the movies only, so here we go. If this is replicating an earlier thread, I apologize, but searching for "Fox Studio Classics" pulls up about a thousand threads, and I can't look through all of those!

Anyway, I've got the "Best Picture Collection" box set which includes (as everyone knows) All About Eve, Gentleman's Agreement, How Green Was My Valley and Sunrise. I think All About Eve and Sunrise are brilliant, and the other two aren't quite up to that level, but are both very enjoyable. I'm not really restricted by any genres or anything, I'm just looking for really good movies. It seems like some of the titles being released (especially more recently) aren't universally regarded as "classics", which is sort of why I'm asking. Anyway, which titles in the collection are the best, purely in terms of how good the movie is?

Here's a few:
The Day the Earth Stood Still is outstanding.
The Ghost and Mrs Muir is very good.
Song of Bernadette I thought was very good too.
I found Anastasia to be excellent.
Mark of Zorro is very good.

The list from shill66 is spot on - those are all terrific movies with great repeat-viewing value.

Check out A LETTER TO THREE WIVES which was just released - it's a winner all the way.

My Darling Clementine and Grapes of Wrath are both top notch 4 out of 4 movies.

Don't miss one of the all time great performances - Maggie Smith in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie.

Just finished watching Leave her to Heaven - a pretty cool film noir with an awesome performance by the beautiful Gene Tierney.
It's a little odd how Fox released this 3 weeks or so before launching the noir line. They should've put this on the noir line, especially since it makes a great companion to Laura, also with Tierney.
