Variety reported last week that Jeff Stockwell (who wrote "Dangerous Lives of Alter Boys") has been contracted by Disney to write a script for a live action version of my personal favorite Miyazaki movie. Some fairly serious producers have been linked to the project. IMDB has a 2006 release date out there.

If this does end up getting made (probably 50-50 at this point), I hope to god they don't f it up.
