The official website is up with loads of pics and videos. I think they look cool. Cant wait to see them on the big screen, if they make it there.

Rave to the Grave? Nice. I always wanted a remake of House of the Dead.

ok - just watched the trailer... straight to video I'd wager. It even has the "straight to video at a sell through price with cross marketing and a high R.O.E" guy's voice. They look really terrible, but I'd check em out sometime cuz I like terrible movies.

Why can't they make a sequel to Night of the Creeps? And where's the damn DVD?

In the beginning of the promo trailer it sounds like they ripped the HypnoToad sound effect from Futurama.

Both look bad but I'll give them a rent.

part 5 is absolutely terrible. I'd imagine part 4 is a bit better since half of it won't be spent at a rave blasting techno music.

Rule of thumb: any movie set at a "Rave" probably sucks.

Exceptions: Blade and Go.

Ugh, the footage looks cheap... generic cinematography and shot-on-video look (and not in a good 'documentary feel' way). Plus they should've kept it simple... these zombie cyborg things are way overboard. I'll still see them I suppose, but I fear that a pretty good franchise has been reduced to Leprechaun level.

Bah, what a waste. I love the original...it's just a great, fun movie. I don't see anyone recapturing whatever it was that made that movie so fun. I'm not even sure what it was.

Braaaainnnns!

Bah. I didn't even like part 2.

Edit: I just realized this is from the director of 8 Legged Freaks. That changes...well, ok it changes nothing. These still look blah.

The bad part is, I'll watch anything with zombies in it. Something about zombie movies...

I've seen parts of Living Dead 3 many times on the Sci-Fi Channel. Never knew what it was until I saw that pic above. That movie was bad. Not like yo yo yo, that's bad, yo. But like "that sucked".

The first is AWESOME! I first watched on TV (Joe Bob Griggs' thinger), and loved it. Then bought it on DVD, and watched it.

Is Dan O'Bannon even remotely involved with them anymore?

Unfortunately, no. It's too bad because he could've done so much with this series, IMO.

Parts 4 & 5 do look pretty bad, but I'm still looking forward to them.

The VO on the trailer sounds like he's going to fall asleep in mid-sentence.

But I think this should have NO problem making back their investment.

Well, at least the producers are being consistent, each sequel has less and less to do with the original. Still, with me having absolutely NO expectations or high hopes, I'll probably give them a rental when they hit direct-to-video (who are they kidding? "theatrical"??? Mwahahahaha!)

Can you believe Dan O'Bannon tried to get a cameo appearance in one of these flicks? (At least that's what he told me.)
