Well, those are certainly good numbers, though not really surprising. Looks like Hitch will do numbers close to though not quite as big as Fifty First Dates last year.

I did think some of the 30 million dollar projections seemed kind of low for this film.

Wow, guess people felt like seeing a romantic comedy this weekend.

I honestly think Hitch is really that good... especially for valentine's day weekend, that's GREAT timing by the studio.

Yup, i agree. Big star in Will Smith, romantic comedy on Valentine's weekend, and pretty much nothing else around to compete with it. No surprise that it would put up big numbers.

By the way, is the formatting of the table screwing things up for everyone else as well?

Yep, looks like BOM changed the formatting of their tables and for the life of me I can't get them to transfer over without having a page of empty space before the table shows up. I removed the table.

No table, that's why! I want my table!

I had no idea that Hitch would hit like that. I figured it for #1, but $45 million?

The BOM table rules, but looks like there's some conflict now with the new BOM coding and the forum software. The table comes out perfectly but it places a couple of pages of empty space before it shows up and I can't figure out why (works fine outside of the forum though). If you guys don't mind the space, I'll still post it. If any HTML coders can help out that would be great too! Here's the table as it is:
