IGN Interview with Uwe Boll

I know,i know you all hate this dude and could care less about him, BUT the interview was worth reading for this little nugget about Bloodrayne:

"It's really brutal and there is stuff in it, we have a really, really hot sex scene with Lokken where she is completely naked."

Somehow, I imagine he'll manage to find a way to fuck that up, too.

The only good news out of that article is that the possible upcoming Hitman movie can still be saved from his clutches.

Ahh, that interview is almost fun to read in afterthought...

BOLL: Alone in the Dark will definitely make much more money that House of the Dead so my weight goes up in that matter.

IGNFF: How many theaters does Alone reach this weekend?

BOLL: 2,200. Hide and Seek has 3,100 or something like that, so they will make more box office, but the question is did they make also a better screen per screen average… The estimates right now are eight million for the weekend if you go to [box office prediction] websites. Eight million would not be great but would be good. Let's say this way, I would not be disappointed...
Wow, if he thought 8 million would not be good, he must be crying now. And the fact that he actually thought his movie would have a higher PSA than Hide & Seek...

Weekend Box office:

Hide & Seek: $21.9m (PTA: $7307)

Alone in the Dark: $2.8m (PTA: $1334)

It won't even gross $8 mil total.

Oh that interview is chock full of good stuff.

"Here's the thing, I always try to, [if you] say it negative, I steal from other movies"

Ha, well, honesty is good, right? This guy is just a barrel of laughs.

I enjoyed these quotes:

"It's proven that a lot of people in the theater, they have problems in a lot of cases, if the movie has two plots or something, if a movie gets a little complicated, then it's too much for the audience."

"Yes, I'm going tomorrow to the theater. (Laughs) Don't tell it to the people, they will chase me and track me down and kill me. (Laughs)"

"It's not like, that I give a s*** what the fans say, but it's tough… A lot of people who are trashing me, they don't know that it's absolutely not easy to get videogame-based movies made and distributed."

"I always try to make not-similar movies… Alone in the Dark will definitely make much more money that House of the Dead so my weight goes up in that matter."

This quy can't possibly be for real. He can't be anything more than some sort of gimmick that was created to get people talking.

I don't see how anyone could, well, be like this moron.

That's what I'm thinking. Who the hell would continuously finance this guy?

Having seen the trailer, I can confirm your suspicions. Of course, I think everyone knew it would suck when they annouced "Uwe Boll will direct Bloodrayne."
