Anyone see the documentary 'Overnight'?

Its a documentary based on the rise and fall of Troy Duffy the writer/director of Boondock Saints. It sounds fascinating and I plan on seeing it soon. Anyone care to share?

I saw the film.

While it does shine a harsh light on Duffy and his egomaniacal antics, it has some serious flaws.

1) The film uses no footage from BOONDOCK SAINTS, which hurts the picture. There is some behind-the-scenes footage, but that’s brief. No interviews with the film’s stars either.

2) About halfway through the film, it’s revealed that the directors of the documentary were screwed over big time financially by Duffy, which suddenly makes the film appear as a retaliatory piece of celluloid instead of an investigative one. That almost ruined the film for me.

However, there is a thrill in seeing gargantuan ego running wild in Hollywood. That’s enough to recommended OVERNIGHT to anyone.

I found this film to be kind of painful to watch.

Troy Duffy is a big blowhard egomaniacal scumbag, but do I really want to spend an hour and a half with him?

No, I don't.

I was really looking forward to seeing it because it sounded so interesting, and then while I was watching it I noticed that I was deriving no pleasure from the film whatsoever.
