What ever happened to Christopher McQuarrie?

He gets an Oscar nod for his screenplay of The Usual Suspects, writes and directs The Way of the Gun and then appears to have dropped off the face of the earth.

Does anyone know what he is up to now (or did he get hit by a truck)?

He was working on his own Alexander script, but I think that fell through once the other ones started getting their green lights. From what I've heard, he burned a few too many bridges and made too many demands after he won his Oscar, and kinda shot himself in the foot.

Wow, that sucks for him. Oscar-winning writer without a job, only in Hollywood.
