Thirteen with Evan Rachel Wood?

Good, overrated, or a 90 minute extended after school special on the dangers of drugs?

Watching the girls all f(*cked up on drugs and punching each other was brutal to watch.

I didn't particularly care for it. I thought it had some great performances but the film itself really didn't end up going anywhere.

Though Nikki Reed... good lord. I have to wait a year to offer my thoughts on her.

Probably some bugs still in the search engine, I guess.

I thought it was very eye opening. Holly Hunter had a solid preformance.

I think it's a very good movie with strong performance. It's not an easy movie to watch, but I held a high respect on it.

I felt this was an excellent movie that all parents--particularly parents of girls--ought to watch. While most girls won't do all the things in this movie, it happens often enough that parents need to be aware. What you don't know or refuse to face head-on is more likely to hurt you.

I thought it was pretty realistic. Girls seem to experiment at a lot younger age than boys do. And none of the girls have sex in the film, whereas in reality I read stories all the time about 13 year olds screwing.
