Favorite Disney Animated Film Since Lion King
Curious, given that Disney has effectively shut down its hand-drawn feature animation division (not counting DTV sequels, etc.), I was wondering what everyone's favorites were.
Here's how I'd rank em, in order of preference:
The Emperor's New Groove
The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Mulan
Lilo & Stich
Hercules
Atlantis: The Lost Empire
Pocahontas
Treasure Planet
Tarzan
Haven't seen BROTHER BEAR or HOME ON THE RANGE.
Ju?

Nope. Not including the Pixar movies. I'm talking in-house, feature-length, theatrically-released, non-DTV releases (or similar outsourced fare like Jungle Book 2, Return to Neverland, The Tigger Movie, etc.). The same with Ghibli. Good Lord, if I inclued Ghibli or Pixar you think "Brother Bear" would even be a blip on the horizon? Madness... Madness I say!! To why for? Groin.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
The animation is stellar. The voice acting is terrific. The story is excellent. It's just too bad it had to have songs and Jason ALexander.

Tarzan, without blinking an eye. It is a beautiful film, terrifically animated(have you seen him move through the trees?), and an excellent take on the legend itself. I even enjoyed Phil Collins's soundtrack, excluding the duet w/N*Sync.
Emperor's New Groove and Stitch would round out a top 3.

I'm surprised at all the love for Tarzan; personally I thought it completely stunk the joint out. I don't know if there ever has been an animated character as thoroughly repugnant as Rosie O'Donnell's ape (whatever her name was), and yes I am including Jar-Jar Binks in that assessment.
Oh well, different strokes and all that. I might be in the minority; after all, it is the highest grossing traditionally-animated film of the last 10 years (excluding Lion King).

Still, a wonderful film and an underrated gem. I'd give it a 7.5 - 8 out of 10, easy.

I voted for Mulan. Eddie Murphy cracked me up in that movie. Close second would have to The Emperor's New Groove; which I thought would stink real bad, but ended up loving it.
I still need to see Lilo & Stitch.

My opinion is that all of the newer films were pretty crappy including The Lion King and The Little Mermaid (not on the poll), except for Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Lilo & Stitch (some bad moments,) and The Emperor's New Groove, which is one I want to see.
I haven't seen Pocahontas, Home on the Range, or Brother Bear, and my opinion is formed from trailers, reviews, and other viewers...
The earlier films were 10 times better than the newer generation.
