Do you own any press kits?

Which ones?

Just wondering. How do you like em'? How do you store em?

Somewhere buried in my closet is the press kit for SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER. I can't even remeber where I got it - probably at a flea market or something. There are about a dozen 8"x10" b/w glossies, cast bios, etc.

Yeah, buried in a closet as well. I've got plenty and they are nice collectible to have of some of your favorite movies. Looking forward to getting the Closer one this next week.

I have a bunch from my days as an entertainment reporter. My favorites are "Saving Private Ryan," which is practically a book, and the CD-ROM press kit for "Return of the King." I probably kept a dozen or so over the years that really interested me.

More and more studios are going to password-protected Web sites for press kits (such as Miramax. It makes sense, since the production chain at newspapers and magazines is all digital now anyway.

Yeah, I was asking because I wanted to get a Closer press kit. I'm bidding on one, but It'll probally end up costing more than I'm willing to pay.

That's how I got mine. Bid on a couple others as well to help with shipping. The press kits that come in book form are always really nice and if you're a fan of that movie that makes them even more special.

Where have you been?

I've put a CLOSER press kit on Ebay twice now (low price and free shipping), and nobody bought it.

Maybe I smell.

I have the one for Collateral, which can be seen here (this is not my auction):

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=3863396081

I haven't opened it yet and it doesn't say whether or not the movie is widescreen. I already have a copy of Collateral, so I'm not sure what to do with it (especially because it doesn't fit on my rack anywhere).
