Awesome as expected. Surprised we didn't get to see something sooner, that looks and feels like a final trailer, almost a bit too long imho.

I love Ridley and I loved Gladiator and I usually love epic period films, but this looks really boring to me. Maybe I'm just tired of all the movies about knights and stuff. I passed on both the period epics this year as well - Alexander and that other one, whatever it was.

I think a period epic coming from the director of Gladiator and Black Hawk Down should be better than one coming from the director of Natural Born Killers or one coming from the director of Air Force One. I am very excited about this flick.

Myself ... I'm ALWAYS looking forward to new movies from my favorite directors. So I'll definately be seeing this.

Although like many, I am weary of massive CGI armies battling other massive CGI armies. One viewing of Troy will pretty much sour you on the prospect.
Don't believe me? Then I must break you.

This movie really came in under the radar and I really didn't know about it until I saw this trailer a few nights back. I was surprised as I typically always follow new stuff from Ridley Scott. Looks good, but having Bloom in it really is giving me doubts.
Anyone know when this is supposed to hit theaters?
Also, I have never heard of the person doing the music or the script before now, so I hope they do a decent job, especially the composer. If an epic has a lackluster music score, then it really cannot be epic IMO.
