I just saw Deadline's story and they have a blurb that says WB Pictures will announce their Comic Con schedule later.
So it's likely that Black Adam will get a presentation. But I don't see them doing anything with The Flash.

Darn. I really wanted this to be true (because I needed one more reason to love Austin Butler).

Japan still has a rather strict policy for foreign visitors entering the country, so not sure how he'd end up there.

Not sure if it’s true or not but I’ve heard rumblings about this being dropped on HBO Max and WB writing it off. Fucking Ezra Miller.

Not true. From the Variety piece posted earlier:
but Warner Bros. is still committed to releasing its $200 million-budgeted tentpole “The Flash” in theaters in June 2023. According to sources with knowledge of the project, the film simply costs too much for the studio to scrap entirely and reshooting with a new actor in Miller’s role is similarly cost-prohibitive, because the actor is in virtually every scene. Also, the film likely can’t generate the revenues needed to turn a profit without a robust theatrical run, so putting the movie directly on HBO Max is also unlikely. All eyes are on Warner Bros., however, as to how it continues to navigate the choppy waters surrounding Miller.

I don’t see how they try a mass release with all the bad press Ezra is getting and will continue to get. The only way I can see is if they shift focus and make it a Batman centric movie (since the character has a large role anyways) and re-title it.

Have no clue as to the whole Tokyo bar brawl and its validity. But as of June 1, Japanese government had expanded the capacity of foreign tourists to 20,000 per day. So while it is still quite tight it is not impossible for people to go to Japan as of right now.

They've been trying to get a Flash movie off the ground for over 20 years and finally after decades of anticipation and $200 million in production costs and mountains of fan anticipation, this pathetic little psychopath fucks everything up at the 11th hour

God forbid if they do something worse between now and release I can’t imagine them releasing it (hard to see Warner releasing it now). They will either shelve it or dump it on Max if the movie is such an integral part of progressing the rest of the DC movies going forward.

The movie is the Flash. People will go for the character not because of Miller. Most like me have really no clue who he is other than I saw him in as the Flash in Justice League. I really doubt most are following.

37 pages and most of it is about his stupid hijinks. So no, people are seeing him in this as much as the character. It’s constantly on the news, and I don’t even seek stuff out about him.

think about all of the actors and actresses who have been cancelled over the past 5 years for shit that usually paled in comparison to Miller's antics.
no way this gets a theatrical release unless Miller gets caught right now, goes to rehab or whatever, and in a year comes back with a redemption tour.

Considering the studio probably won’t market the movie with the actor who’s playing the Flash at all and more news stories will come out as the movie gets closer and Miller will do more things to generate news stories, people are going to know about him.

Sure, that’s how news feeds work. Keep scrolling down. Sorry buddy, our tiny echo chamber is reflective of the movie hype is right now.
