"Robots" from the FOX Movie studio....
I just watched the "inside look" of "ROBOTS" on the I-Robot DVD. It is from the creators of "Ice Age". To me, I like the look and feel of the thing and am now eagerly expecting this one. Spring 2005? So what do you-all think?

I think that it's been shoved down my neck enough already. The cut outs have been all over the place on the lot since I, Robot came out in theaters.

I was really hoping they'd master this into 3D Imax like how they did Polar Express. I know they're doing regular Imax, but it'd be kickass if they moved it into 3D.
Otherwise, movie looks cute. Nice to see Robin Williams doing some comedic work again, even if it's only a voice.

From the trailer, it still looks to me like the film follows the anti-Pixar formula ... ie, focus on popular voice talent instead of plot. Throughout the whole trailer, all I heard was "I'M ROBIN WILLIAMS! PAY ATTENTION TO ME!"

I got that vibe too. But it does look more entertaining than any recent offering from another studio (including Shark Tale, Polar, Shrek 2, etc.). I had no desire to see those, but Robots looks decent. If only for the world it takes place. Looks interesting.

This looks pretty bland to me. The robot world is neat to look at, but the humor/characters/etc. just seem like typical cookie cutter CGI movie fare. Chicken little has the same problem for me.
Madagascar, on the other hand, at least seems to have a unique sensibility to its humor, despite its stunt casting in the voices.
