OK opening for Ocean's 11. Maybe the last of the Blade movies with that opening for Trinity. Great holds for the Xmas movies as expected. Bad drops for Closer & Alexander (this won't even make more than Catwoman!) Looks like The Incredibles will squeak out a Monster's Inc. total.

Extremely bummed that Oceans 12 had such a huge opening although I'm sure most here will be happy. I was really hoping it would bomb. Such a boring movie that tries so hard to be cooler & more clever than it was (although there Vincent Cassel was brilliant as always & a nice surprise since I had no clue he was in it).
On the other I'm very happy to see the #s on Sideways I didn't know it made that much. One of the best films of the year.
Curious to see what Flying Daggers does next weekend as it opens nation wide. Really hope it does well.
And I'm thrilled that Alexander bombed so fast, since it was one of the worste movies of the year by IMO the most overrated director of the past 25 years.
