Devil's Advocate checking in. I couldn't stand the movie. I watched it and in the end I just thought "So what?" The acting was great (well ROberts was lacking), but who cares if the movie wasn't good. I was really looking forward to this movie, too. The forums got me overhyped, aside from seeing Natalie Portman in the strip club I didn't enjoy any of it. It was jumpy, and in the end just boring.

:awaits the beration (word?) of the masses:

Probably my 2nd favorite movie of last year (my first being Garden State) The movie was just GREAT plain and simple. I may be a little bias because I love dialogue more than any other feature of a movie. I think everyone acted perfectly. It was often hilarious at times and sad at others. Quite simply a refreshing film in a time of crap.

I loved it too, but I tend to like dialogue that isn't quite real though (does anyone really talk like they do on Buffy or The Gilmore Girls? I don't think so, but clever, overworked dialogue can be fun). I especially loved the part in DonnachaOne's avatar.
