Pretty much. I think most people gave up on her terrible acting talents. A pretty face can only bring you so far:

Yeah, she was quite the beauty and one of my favorite actresses to look at (especially as Jason Bovberg mentioned in Body Snatchers), but just not much there in the acting department unfortunately.

Saw "Flying Virus" (aka Killer Buzz) on the dish a few months back when I was bored to tears. It's a B-movie and a bad one at that.
It also cast Rutger Hauer and Craig Sheffer - who seemed to be living in B-movie territory.

I saw her in a movie called Kimberly, which is only a few years old, and she still looked pretty damn hot. I think the IMDB shot is just a bad pic; bad lighting and makeup.

You are assuming, of course, that it's done for our benefit. Sometimes, people do things because they think it's what's expected of their in-group. I mean, I read some pretty lame Star Wars paperbacks back in the day because I wanted to keep my geek membership active. I didn't do it to impress girls (obviously); I did it because it seemed like the right thing to do at the time.
